I just got my blue 71 running the other day started for the first time in many years. A lot of your advice helped plus another video with a Windex bottle spray tube siphoning oil out of bottom crank area, but after rebuilding carbs, petcock changing a lot of fuel lines plugs and adjustments it’s now running.👍

They would have come with their own head pipes - was a 4 into 2 system - don't remember the years they fit but think all the 900's.

If you are new to jonnys channel there is a formula 1 x nice is ok 2 x nice is good 3 x nice is great 4 x nice is excellent 5 x nice is outstanding I saw Jonny do 5 x nice when test riding an immaculate 73 Z1 900 build by The master .. Is it the s100 totalcleaner?

Stunning for its age. I think the painted parts are off a KZ650C, though, and not the originals, but it could have been delivered like that from the shop, as it was not uncommon to swap these parts around depending on the desires from the buyer.

The Z650 is a very good bike, designed by the same person who did the z1 900, a excellent appreciating classic that you can ride each day.🏍👍

That's amazing condition for one of these with such a high mileage. No smoke , no rattles and by the look of it, no leaks. That's 115,873 kms in our language!...And you say the engine hasn't been opened? That's phenominal!..A compression test would be an interesting exercise.

Presents very well for a bike with that kind of mileage on it. Previous owner was clearly a good steward for this piece. Engine cleaned up well once off the choke. 👍

Odd. My '57 also has an issue with the right side tank near the rear mounding stud. Hairline cracks. I just had it welded yesterday and will be checking for leaks tomorrow. Nice tanks, though. If they were red, and still available, I'd certainly buy them. Cheers!
